Heven and Hell Book Tour!

Hey Lovelies!
Today is my day on the Heven and Hell Book Tour!  Cambria Hebert is a fellow author and friend I've been talking to and she has her debuting book Masquerade coming out on the 16th!  I posted the review of the short story prequel Before not too long ago and did an interview with Cambria.  Today on the book tour you will be seeing an interview with the main character Heven!  Cambria is also allowing me do a giveaway of an ebook verison of Masquerade!  All you do to win a copy is post a comment and your email on this page and I'll use Random.org to pick the winner on Monday December 12!  It is a great Paranormal Romance of a love that should not be all the while of trying to stay alive of what is lerking in the shadows...

The Interview with Heven:

Interview with Heven

When you were in the hospital what did you do to keep busy?

When I first woke up, I was in a lot of pain and the nurses and doctor kept me on pain medicine that me made me a little loopy. But after a few days I didn’t need as much medicine and left a lot of time to think… and wonder. My mom, the doctor, my friends…they would all ask what happened but I didn’t know. A lot of my “friends” never came back. But Kimber did. She would bring fashion magazines and nail polish and she would paint my toes with crazy colors. Cole came to see me too and when he came he brought cards and we would play crazy eights.

You have constant nightmares about the accident you can not remember, did you ever consider getting a dream catcher or something that would prevent them?  Or did deep down you want to have the nightmares in hopes that you would finally get answers?

The nightmares were scary and I dreaded going to sleep at night but you know… not knowing what happened to me was worse. So as much as I wanted to the nightmares to stop I wanted them to continue so that maybe I could find the answer.

How old were you when you started to ride horses with your Grandmother?

I was six when I started riding with my Dad and sometimes my Gran would ride with us.

Between the time of your attack and finding Sam did you ever lose hope in ever finding love?

After my attack I hadn’t hoped for love. I didn’t think it was in the cards for me. Yeah, I thought that my looks would scare all the guys off but I also knew how unhappy I was and no one would want to be with someone who was so unhappy. You know?

Did you ever feel like the third wheel when hanging out with Kimber and Cole?

There were times when they would be all kissy and I would get uncomfortable but they never made me feel like a third wheel. Cole is a really great guy and Kimber is my friend and they always made me feel welcome.

What is your favorite book?

Anything fantasy. I really enjoy anything that can transport me out of my head. And of course, I’m a little partial to Masquerade. *grins*

What is your favorite mythical creature?

Mythical? Well… after the things I have seen I have to wonder if those “mythical” creatures really are mythical. I think there are more real “creatures” out there than we realize. *pauses and smiles* And if I had to choose it would be Sam of course.

You talk about how your mother is testing out every recipe of chicken known to man kind, did you ever consider hiding her recipes so that she couldn’t make any of them?

Oh no. See that’s the problem, my mother doesn’t always use a “recipe” sometimes she does throws things together in the pan… things that shouldn’t go together. Sometimes her “recipes” are just made up.

What is your favorite type of bubble tea?

       Strawberry. Sam’s favorite is chocolate.

When you were mad at Sam did you consider not wearing the bracelet and necklace he gave you?

Sure. In fact I took the bracelet off … but when I would have nightmares at night I would put it back on because it gave me comfort. Even when I was so mad at him – I couldn’t help but want to be close to him as well.

You are close with your Grandmother what is your favorite meal that she makes?

That’s a hard question because she makes some fantastic food! I really like her spaghetti and garlic bread. And her pot roast and her pancakes…. Ha ha. You get the idea.

What is your favorite thing to do with Kimber?

It used to be cheering but now…probably going out to shop then having Panini’s and coffee together.

Why did you never learn to swim?

I never liked the water. *shudders* It was just something I never wanted to do. It just seems like a vast hole of dark water – we live by a lake – that one could get lost in.

Do you think you’ll stay close with Cole even though him and Sam don’t seem to get along?

I know I will. Cole was one of very few people who really stuck by me after my accident. He’s one of my best friends. I hope and Cole and Sam will eventually become friends but even if they don’t Cole will always be in my life.

Do you enjoy any of the activities you do with the church?

I like helping out with the little kids. Kids are pretty cute. But you know… it’s hard to enjoy something if you feel like it’s being forced on you.

Thank you so much for having me here today!
