Yesterday was the last day of work for me for two weeks. I'll still be doing homework for grad school so it will won't be a complete break, but I'll take it with the extra sleep. This year has been the lastest I've have ever been still shopping for Christmas gifts. Anyone else out there? I have to buy my copy of Christmas Lites which I will be doing this week. It has 25 authors that you may or may not know. There are even a couple of kid authors in there for the holiday spirit. Remember these books, all of the money will go to the NCADV! I swear theses covers are getting better every year.
Good Morning, The long wait is finally over! This years Christmas Lites is released. I can't believe this is book five, it doesn't feel like five years has gone by. For those who don't know what this book series is about, it is a group of authors that come together and each write a holiday story. Then Amy Eye (editor and compiler) brings all the works together. She and the cover designer do not see a dime towards their work towards Christmas Lites just like the authors who submit their works. Every dime goes towards the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV). This year my story involves Riley from Beneath the Scars :)

However if you are looking for a light give for that special reader in your life, and want to help a noble cause I might have the gift for you in mind. There are people who are afraid of their own homes, and try to avoid going home at all costs, this is when the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence comes in just like knights, to be the protector of those in need. However they too need support, in light of the holiday season 26 authors came together to create a book to help raise money for these heroes. This book is called Christmas Lites. With each copy all the funds will go towards the NCADV, the book is available both in paperback and ebook format. I hope that you all can have it in your heart and buy a copy, or help spread the word of this book. If you buy this book not only will you be helping a cause that is amazing, but also be reading 26 authors you might not have heard of before, broaden your author horizon!
Once upon a time, a determined seven year old caught Santa sliding down the chimney…
Then a ninja elf came and broke Santa out, no net is strong enough to keep out this ninja elf! Off passed the faithful family pet they ran and jumped in the sleigh. They raced to another house but refused to stop when ghosts were there to greet them. Santa doesn’t tangle with ghosts. He doesn’t tangle with vampires, either.
At the next stop, he met a runaway gingerbread man who yelled, “You can’t catch me, I’m the gingerbread man!” Santa didn’t bother to catch him; he had things to do.
On his way to his next delivery, he passed a werewolf jumping out of a plane and dodged a zombie hungry for his brain.
He finally touched down in a nice, normal town full of tidings and great joy…
Or did he?
