Going Rogue, coming near you?

Awhile ago I wrote a little blog series titled Going Rogue. It was Aaron's time away during End of the Line. After it was done I put the whole thing up on Wattpad. I am considering putting it up on Smashwords so that it can be read on e-readers, but I would still make it free because well it is still on my blog. Who would pay for something that was already free on my blog? Exactly, craziness. So keep your eyes out for Going Rogue for all e-readers!

Cover Revealing ~ Whispers in the Woods

I'm doing a cover revealing for my upcoming novella! I published Shadows from the Past in October 2013. I know it's been awhile since it was released, but now the story will continue. This series will be called Mistakes.In Shadows from the Past we learned of a world with werewolves and their dark tradition. However, it took two individuals that changed changed things. In Whispers in the Woods we get to see ripples from the aftermath. I am currently writing the third installment in the Mistakes series. Whispers in the woods will be available for all ebook formats on May 8, 2015!

I got an email from the awesome Amy Eye over the weekend! That means that I will be doing a cover revealing for my new short story on Friday, and it will be released May 8th! This is the short story that is after Shadows from the Past. They are not directly related, but they take place in the same world. I'm hoping to have a third book afterwards and I'm currently writing that. I'm hoping that it's a full length novel, but we'll see. I'm hoping that you all will like the new story, more to come!

Puppy

Hello!

So I'm late in posting this because grades were due and this little guy kept me busy! I'd been wanting to get a puppy for awhile, I've had one all my life and it felt weird to come home to an empty apartment. Meanwhile my boyfriend wanted to get a brother for his dog. We'd been looking for months and I watched a bunch of dog shelters by the both of us. We looked at puppies and adult dogs. Then I saw this litter of twelve puppies that they said were Shepard mixes. We got there Saturday (March 28) and we saw the puppies, there were only a couple of left. The boys were asleep, but one curled in my lap and we were sold. We have a little Leo in our lives now. He's super sweet which I'm hoping isn't a trap for me to later be a mischievous creature. He saw the other dogs and tried his little best to keep up with them. Meet little Leo :)

Shadows from the Past free

Hi Everyone,
I wrote a sequel to Shadows from the Past! The title of this new story is called 'Whispers in the Woods'. In this story readers will be able to see what happens in the world after 'Shadows from the Past'. To celebrate this upcoming release I am making 'Shadows from the Past' free for all ebooks! Yes these stories are a little darker than my novels, or at least a really different genre. It's different to write paranormal stories, I like to dabble in different genres. It is interesting to see different worlds. Between 'Shadows from the Past' and 'Whispers in the Woods' beta readers and editor have asked me if there will be a full novel. I will say that I'm considering it.

Back in high school I started this story, Mistakes. After writing it for a bit I kind of wrote myself in a corner because I thought of a plot twist I wanted, but I was going to have to rewrite the beginning because I didn't like how it was hinted. Forward a couple of years I wrote Shadows from the Past and when I went back to edit it because I was going to use it for something else I realized I accidentally linked that story with Mistakes. I wish I could say I was clever and did it on purpose, but I'd be lying. However, after writing that I knew Mistakes was going to be the series name, not the novel's. I then wrote 'Whispers in the Woods'. It might be a little weird to have a series where the first two books are short stories then the third is a full novel. Then again I decided to scrap the old one from high school and started to rewrite it completely, for all I know it might be a short story too. I'd rather produce a short story then drag out a story just to make it a novel. I want to write that as much as you would want to read that.

I really think I went off topic for just saying that a novella is free for all ereaders. I'm really sorry about that! Again enjoy the free book and keep your eyes open to a new upcoming story!

Snow Days and sequels

Hello!
I'm currently sitting on my couch in my living room watching a random movie on my second snow day in a row and I just received an email saying we are having another one tomorrow. I have cleaned and reorganized my apartment, did laundry, caught up on work emails, wrapping three birthday presents, practicing make-up for a wedding this weekend, and spent endless hours researching endlessly about nothing and blowing up my boyfriend's phone so when he gets off work he has a bunch of dumb texts. What else are girlfriends for? Oh! I have also gotten my oil changed. I have gotten a little of writing down. I'll get more done tomorrow. I did a little work on End of the Line 2, which is slowly moving, I'm near the end, but I can't bring myself to write or focus writing right now.  I'm not selling that story probably considering how long it is taking me to write it. I just get distracted. That and it is sad to think that I will be saying goodbye to some friends again. I have a soft spot for Aaron and Lauren. They were my first published characters and they were based off characters in a dream I had for years.

I will be doing final edits on a short story that will be along side of Shadows from the Past! I can't wait to share that one, but once that is done I will be sending it to Amy to work her magic on. I don't publish much, but I hope they are worth the wait. This story it does not really matter if you read shadows from the past first or not, there are different characters, but in the same world. I had a few beta readers on it and they seemed to like it, and were interested to see if there will be a full length novel on the world. It's in the works is all I can say.

Now to Project US. My Aunt is doing edits on the second half of it and I got the first half back from my boyfriend since I accidentally left it at his place. She did the edits on a physical copy. I'm sure there is a forest out there that is plotting against me. This is my longest story up-to-date, 80K+. It's a little different, and I'm nervous to see what people will think, I've gotten some really positive feedback on it so that is helping my nervous. Of course I'm over thinking the cover and everyone I have asked liked something else. I'm going to have to go on my gut probably which will be fun of course. Can't you tell by all this writing that I've been locked up in my apartment for days?

I'll try to writing more soon. I have one of my best friend's getting married this upcoming weekend which means a trip back up to NJ this weekend! I haven't seen him in so long I'm excited to see him and his fiance tie the knot. This is my first friend to get married, and it is crazy to think that we reached this point in our lives. So grown up, yet, I'm still being mistaken for one of my students. Plus the boyfriend will be going with me to the wedding, our first event together. I'm probably more excited than I should be about that. That's probably because when it came to prom I always went with my friends never a date. I'll post pictures!
